Beat Your Ploughshares into Swords: The Marxists Are Here

We all have our reasons for preferring freedom to the enticing promise of government support, which comes at the unmistakable price of submission, despair and ultimately tyranny.

(Scroll down for a list of key races.)

In this watershed election, whether you sympathize with the Democrat message, the Libertarian message, the Ron Paul message or the the free-love message, it's critical that WE, THE PEOPLE, send an unmistakable message to the government: We will not be your vassals, slaves or serfs. We will not beg you for the crumbs off your table. Because, we do not work for YOU. We do not want you to steal on our behalf from people who work hard for the sake of "fairness." Because, who decides what's fair? Barack Obama? Nancy Pelosi? Alan Grayson? Barbara Boxer? To paraphrase William F. Buckley, I would rather be ruled by 535 people chosen at random from the phone book than by the faculty at Harvard. Never has this been more true.

If they want to tax the rich, they should do it. Institute a 50% wealth tax on all millionaires, billionaires and trust funds. But they won't. They can't and the reason is simple: because as soon as a bill was introduced in the House, all capital would flee for a safe haven like Switzerland or Belize and the economy would collapse. That's the irony. The real rich can evade taxes, the high earning workers are trapped and subject to the whims of this cabal of social misfits.

We do want to help the needy, just not by government fiat. Because like any organized criminal operation, the government takes an intolerable piece of the action. The government uses the billions it seizes to reward its cronies who then work the polls to keep their stinking carcasses in power. The corrupt union bosses, the public sector employees, the teachers unions, these constituents of our enemies are funded through our taxes, yet they are undeniable extensions of the Democrat party. In this way, the government is truly a parasite living off the dying body of WE THE PEOPLE. And, borrowing a famous line from a famous movie: "All THIS must end."

Make no mistake, this election is just the beginning. We must: as sentient beings, as American patriots, we must begin to rollback the government leviathan that has taken over, or threatens to take over virtually every aspect of our lives. It was a century in the making from the Progressive era, through FDR, LBJ, Jimmy Carter right down to this petulant child of a president and his coven of Socialists, Progressives, Communists, Enviro-Marxists, poverty pimps, racial hucksters, and all other manner of miscreant that slither through the halls of congress and infest the Federal and State bureaucracies. And the effort could take a hundred years, we must be prepared for that. As Reagan said, "freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction."

America must be re-made. Legislators must have had careers outside of the public realm before taking office. Parents should be free to use their tax dollars to educate their children as they see fit. People who work longer and harder should be able to keep that money so they can invest and prosper, in that way, we all prosper. That is the American dream. If cities and towns can't afford services, then the public will have to take up the slack, that goes for everything from policing to garbage collection. If pensions must go bust, we'll have to open our homes to our neighbors starting with family and friends.

The big government model that is being imposed upon us: where the government dictates every aspect of our lives has failed everywhere it has been tried. And it has failed because it goes against human nature. If you are rewarded for doing nothing, you will do nothing. And societies will wither and die, smothered by its own waste.

We know what the problems are, I could go into extreme detail to outline what should be done, but now is not the time for debate or academic exercises. Now is the time for action. We have to get up off the couch. We have to pull down the flat screen, store the videos, put down the video game and whatever else we spend our time with in this most affluent society, for it will not be affluent if we delay. We have to get out and make a miracle happen on November 2nd.

Fortunately in this networked age, we can do a lot without wasting a lot of shoe leather. Here's what you can do in the next 25 days: make sure you are registered. If you can vote early, go and do so. Make sure your friends and relatives are registered and if they can't make it to the polls on their own, drive them or help them get an absentee ballot and send it in right away.

Most importantly, we have to dig deep into our pockets and help the candidates that will make a difference in the new Congress. It might hurt, but look at it this way, if you had $1,350 lying around you could buy one single ounce of gold. We all know gold is going up and it's a good investment. But, right now good conservative candidates are being hammered by attack ads because the Democrats have nothing to run on. The jig is up. They're failures are naked for all to see. So they are mudslinging and the citizen-patriots who have taken up the mantle to fight back and return the government to the PEOPLE are getting buried in an avalanche of expensive advertising buys.

So, what I'm asking you to do, is to dig deep. To defend the value of the currency. To defend the rights of the individual. To vanquish the forces of darkness who are this close (my fingers are almost touching) to extinguishing the bright light of liberty which has shone on these shores for more than two centuries. Give up that one ounce of gold for the sake of liberty.

The Senate looks like it might be evenly split, which would be a disaster with Joe Biden as the tie-breaking vote. JOE BIDEN for God's sake. We must push the edge of the envelope and elect who the smart people say have no chance. My short list is, in this order:
  1. Dino Rossi (Washington State) -- Patty Murray has been called the stupidest woman in the Senate, she's the third-ranking Democrat, she must be defeated for us to grab the Senate, she's a disgrace.
  2. Christine O'Donnell (Delaware) -- this is winnable, she's got a good communications team and is running against a bearded Marxist who converted to Marxism in (of all places) Kenya! He sought to raise taxes and spending in the middle of this recession. He's a disaster. More here.
  3. Sharon Angle (Nevada) -- the despicable Harry Reid will stop at nothing to maintain his grip on power. Despicable doesn't begin to describe him, add: corrupt, posturing, seedy, ghoul-like, nasty, mean-spirited, ego-maniacal. He's Jimmy Carter without any redeeming qualities.
  4. Linda McMahon (Connecticut) -- a long shot to be sure, but if you saw the debate when this Elliot Spitzer wannabe couldn't describe how to create a job, you'd know he's a disaster.
  5. Marco Rubio (Florida) -- this guy's presidential material and Charlie Crist will do anything (as he has shown) to stay relevant.
  6. Carly Fiorina (California) -- Barbara Boxer is the most detestable POS in Congress, remember how she upbraided that brigadier General for calling her Ma'am. Again, she's a POS.
I encourage everyone to go to and click on the House, Senate and Gubernatorial races that are in play and make a donation. It's vital to the survival of the republic and I am not given to hyperbole.

I have others."
